Doctrs is the collaboration between Josh Campos and Sean Bloom and delivers everything you might expect from this mystifying duo and more.  With their aptly titled debut album Paradise Paradox, we’re submerged into a mysterious void and forced to contemplate the nature of modern romance.

 

It’s clear that there’s some kind of illness present with the latter.  Though, through lyrical ambiguity, Doctrs suggest there’s no easy diagnosis to the matched vagueness that envelops so many modern relationships.  The answers we may seek exist in some form of duality and an unrelenting labyrinth of paradoxes.  Rather than offering a cure, these Doctrs simply want to know, “why are we like this?”
