Mothers of Mars

Mothers of Mars is Sean Bloom and Ennio Liverani. A project started during the lulls in their respective bands (Sean of man Be Solo and Ennio of Griselda Masalagiken), Mothers of Mars, or MOM for short, has become a vehicle for cosmically influenced ideas turned sonically grounded. Their first release, MOM Vol. 1 takes you on a trip through the outer reaches of the alt rock spectrum relying equally on guitars as well as synthesizers. The unconventional sounds and rhythms create a foreign landscape that when layered with soft vocals somehow manage to keep the strange territory familiar. From the homesick feeling of “Screens” to the extraterrestrial automation of “1212”, Mothers of Mars join the relative and the unknown into a single, mysterious yet attractive entity fitting of the nomenclature.
